Kylie

I would just love to take a moment to talk about my amazing sister! I've had the opportunity to spend some time with her lately and I am just amazed by the person she's become. She makes me truly appreciate what it means to be a mother. Motherhood is a divine calling, and in my opinion, it's the purest form of love. I took these photos because 1.) TENDER MOMENT and 2.) I feel like it shows a special bond between mother and child. I feel like so many women of the world today, even LDS women take motherhood for granted. Many women in the church view it as something we HAVE to do rather than something we GET to do. Sure, pregnancy is hard and your sacrificing your gorgeous body for stretch mark and a world of pain. But the pros far outweigh the cons. You get to a build a house for one of God's beautiful souls, nourish them (physically and spiritually), love them, teach them, learn from them, etc.
My sister and I didn't have the best relationship when we were younger, but as we've both developed and chosen to walk on the path of God and progressed in our directions, I feel that we've grown close as friends as well as sisters. I look up to her in every way possible, especially in the way she's overcome challenges. When we're all together as a family, I'm almost overwhelmed, and I feel so lucky because I know that these are the people I get to spend eternity with. And now I get to go help other people to be able to spend eternity with their families. :)
